Chicken Pot Pie

What’s more comforting than Chicken Pot Pie?! Even if it does have peas in it!! In this video, we put our mise en place skills to work and chop some veggies for a perfect mirepoix.

It’s starting to feel kind of French in here. This recipe uses a creamy Bechamel Sauce and Flakey Pie Dough. You can learn how to make them both by watching our Skill Drills videos.


Mirepoix: Mirepoix is a French culinary term for a mix of sautéed onions, carrots, and celery.The vegetables are cooked slowly in butter or oil to bring out their flavors without browning or caramelizing them.The traditional ratio is 1:2:1 (one part celery, two parts onions, and one part carrots).
