Friday, August 29th at 6:30 pm with Sommelier Joe Breaux

Argentina and Chile offer a diverse range of wines, with Argentina focusing on Malbec and Torrontes, and Chile on Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Carménère.

Malbec from Argentina has been so popular that it’s become almost a brand name, while Chile can be counted on for sound, moderately priced wines and high-end bottles of polish and gloss.

While both countries still produce some of the world’s great values — particularly Malbec in Argentina and Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenère in Chile — the old assumption that that’s all they can make has thankfully been abandoned. Top reds from both countries are world-class, able to compete with the best of the United States and Europe. It’s an excellent time to explore and explore we shall with Joe and his (as always) interesting tasting selections from those regions.

Join us as we choose the (wine) road less traveled by because that could make all the difference.

It's just another fun evening of wine tasting and light bites hosted in Chef Candace's home.
