If you've spent any time in a wine shop, you've noticed the name, Kermit Lynch. The brand (and person) is an importer, retailer, wholesaler, and distributor of wines from France and Italy.
They only import wine that they drink and enjoy, directly from the source. So, their curated selection only includes wines made by their growers in Italy and France who they buy from year after year.

After founding his retail shop in 1972 in Albany, California, Kermit Lynch began exclusively selling his own imports from French and Italian winegrowers, purchasing wines direct from the domaines and focusing on small producers whose wines express the authentic style of their native region. The wines are transported from the winery in temperature-controlled trucks and refrigerated containers to the United States, thus ensuring the utmost quality and provenance throughout the import process.
