July is the month for corn and you'll be creating one of Chef Candace's original corn pasta recipes along with the handmade pasta of Southern Italy.


This is hands-on in every sense of the word. No joke! You will be kneading the dough and hand-forming pasta just like an Italian grandmother. And, while the dough is resting, you'll make the delicious and complex corn pasta sauce perfectly designed to stand up to these rustic pasta shapes.

You will learn how to shape traditional pasta from many regions of Southern Italy. In addition to the shapes we taught in the original Southern Italian class (orecchiette, cavatelli and spizzulus), you will also learn busiati, strascinati, fusilli, and more.

At the end of your work, you'll sit down to a well-deserved dinner of your very own handmade pasta and sauce with a very nice glass of wine.
